The Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) is one of seven partners of a European consortium of the project KABADA – Knowledge Alliance of Business Idea Assessment: Digital Approach, whose goal was the development of an innovative digital tool for evaluation of new business ideas. As the end of the project approaches, the prototype is ready to be tested in order to validate it and insert the necessary changes before it goes to the market.
As the end of this project approaches, the Kabada tool was tested with students on 24th October. On November 4, for comparison purposes, a second test was carried out with a control group, through a workshop on Business Plan, to verify and compare results and deviations. The two workshops were carried out online in English and facilitated by the Latvian partner, who assumes the international leadership of this project.
This European project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and aims at “developing an entrepreneurial mindset among researchers, students and teachers”, as well as “reducing the failure rate of new businesses and increasing the number of successful entrepreneurs”.
