UC Leuven is a UAS in Flanders, collaborating under the name UC Leuven-Limburg with UC Limburg.

UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) is renowned for the high quality of its teaching, research and regional development. More than 30 bachelor and postgraduate programs are offered in various domains, with a focus on ICT, healthcare, social work, business & commerce, teacher education, and science & technology. UCLL’s strong commitment to research ensures state-of-art training programs for its 15,000 students.

UCLL performs market-driven applied research: we develop innovative technologies for companies and transfer new technologies to the market. We also provide consultancy for local industries, organizations and governments. The regional interconnectivity of the institution within the provinces of Flemish Brabant and Limburg is established via close contacts with local governments and representative bodies.

UCLL is a member of educational networks across the globe and strongly collaborates with local, regional and national policy-making bodies, resulting in a broad network of stakeholders. UCLL is involved in a variety of European projects: under H2020 (e.g.iMuSciCA, Story, …), under Erasmus+ (Big Step, BEHAVE, ..) and other EC programs (ERDF, Daphne,..).

UCLL’s policy aims to maximize the interaction between research and education. This means that both students and teaching staff are actively involved in research practice. We also introduce research output in any study program wherever possible.
